The Canadian Partnership Against Cancer (the Partnership) is an independent organization funded by the federal government to accelerate action on cancer control for all Canadians. The Partnership’s model is unique to addressing cancer, with cooperation and collaboration across jurisdictions and organizations to optimize effectiveness and efficiency across the cancer control continuum.
The Partnership collaborates with hundreds of partners across all provinces and territories to implement initiatives focused on improving cancer outcomes for Canadians; we do not fund research. Our work for the next five-year strategic period spans the cancer control continuum and is organized under five themes: quality, equity, seamless patient experience, maximize data impact and sustainable system.
Opportunities for funding are released through a Call for Expressions of Interest. Funding decisions are based on the criteria outlined in each Call for Expressions of Interest and preference is given to projects that have the strongest alignment to program requirements.
